Angel Tank

An angel tank is an aquarium designed specifically for angelfish, another beautiful freshwater fish species from the Amazon basin known for their tall, compressed bodies and flowing fins

Here are some of the things to keep in mind when setting up a Angel tank:
Tank Size: Angelfish can grow to be quite large, so a tank of at least 55 gallons is required for a single angelfish and additional 10 gallons for each additional fish. A tall tank is ideal as it provides ample space for their bodies to grow.
Water Chemistry: While not as sensitive as discus, angelfish prefer slightly acidic water with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5 and a hardness of 5 to 20 dGH. The ideal temperature range is between 78° and 88° Fahrenheit.
Filtration: A good quality filter is important for maintaining clean water conditions in an angel tank. A canister filter or hang-on back filter will work well.
Heating: A reliable heater is necessary to maintain the proper water temperature.
Substrate: Angelfish like to sift through the substrate for food, so a soft substrate like sand or fine gravel is ideal.
Decoration: Angelfish appreciate having hiding places, so decorate your tank with live or silk plants and driftwood.

Like discus, angelfish require a well-maintained environment to thrive. Here’s what you need to consider when setting up an angel tank
